Williston Day Street Fair: St. John's will be participating in the street fair this year on Sunday, September 18. If you would like to volunteer some time to help with this project please connect with Amy Fisher or call the church office.

A MEGA YARD SALE: has been proposed for Saturday September 24, 9am-4pm in the parking lot. If you would like to be involved with this project please contact Audrey Grill by August 25th or sign up in the narthex. No outside vendors please.

ST JOHN'S LADIES AID FAIR: SAVE THE DATE! The annual fair will be held on Saturday October 22, 2011 from 10am-3pm.

NEW!! The CRAFTER'S GUILD of St. John's is up and running!

We meet on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to noon in the connecting room off the fellowhip hall. Bring any craft or sewing project you may be working on - or something else to share with the group. Your ideas and talents will enrich our time together. We will work on sewing and craft projects for missions, sick and shut-ins and nursing homes. In the midst of all this we also pray to grow in friendship - encouraging and supporting each other in our Christian walk.

Other things to note: We will meet every Wednesday except: Nov 24, Dec 22, Dec 29 and whenever there is snow or ice.

We are happy to receive donations of fabric, lace trim, rick-rack, ribbons and other notions, fiber fill for pillows, patterns.

Volunteer recognition was celebrated on Sunday September 26, following the 10:15am worship. Thanks to all who gave their time during the last year! We thank God for all of you. Your time and talents that you provide keep our church going and are most certainly appreciated. Refreshments were served, some recognition, the tradition of passing on the “golden plunger” award, and “especially your presence” all of which took place in the Fellowship Hall.
